`Music Matters" specialize in making the ultimate audiophile 45rpm pressings of selected titles from the historic BLUE NOTE catalog & they are the only licence manufacturer that has axess to the original masters and the original photoarchive from the Blue Note vaults..So ,instead of small pictures with bad resolution on the back of the cover we now get big really nice high resolution pictures from the original recordingsessions presented as art on the inside of the gatefoldcover that are made of ultra thick cardboard with the ultimate glossed paperquality..Personally i have never seen any quality,anywhere that comes close to these gems that are limited to 2500 copies worldwide...And out of these 2500 copies there are 1000 numbered copies for the most extreme collector and they are priced approx 15-20$ higher then the unnumbered items. It all depends on if the item is out of print or not..We still have some unnumbered & numbered "out of print" items in stock and they are more expensive the albums not yet out of print. All people who collect vinyl serioulsly agree that the "Music Matters"items are currently the most secure investment in vinyproducts today that can be done..There are 2 main reasons for this..

1:The extremely high quality these versions of the albums are manufactured by the absolute state of the art direct analog mastering and analog cuttingmachines in world. And the fact that all masterin/cutting are done by the two legendary masteringexperts Bernie Grundman & Steve Hoffman at the ACOUSTEC company..(Same factory that master the famous"CLASSIC RECORDS" & "ACOUSTIC SOUNDS" labels that are famous for their outstanding reissues of classical music & historic rock albums should say enough about how serious this is..The second reason is that we are the only manufacturer that has complete axxess to The  Blue Notes photo archives & can make high resolution pictures to put on our gatefoldcovers..

2:The very limited editions of these albums make the go "out of print"only months after their release and the value on these albums increases  within short time..
One example..the famous Eric Dolphy album "out to lunch" became `out of print` less than 3 months after its release and i have seen it offered for more then 100$ on ebay recently...it costed 50$ when it was released!
So my advice to all customers is to get these items as soon as possible after their release to get the best price possible..

Jazzaway records has done its best to have in stock as many titles possible before they go out of print..but we also have some out of print items..unnumbered & numbered in stock...

There are 4-5 international webstores that sells these products by mailorderservice and the cost from 50-60 $ at these stores..on top of that you have to pay 12-17$ postage pr album + Norwegian VAT 25% + the so called tollcharge (109 nkr) which they charge extra just to handle the actual package & to figure out the VAT amont before they give you a total fee you must pay when you pick the package up at the postoffice....
SO, if you buy an album priced at 50$ at the webstores that sells these items you must add 17$potage +15$ customhandling...Then the album actually costs approx 85$..Before they add 25% VAT on top of that!..The total will in fact be 106,25$ for one item ordered trough ANY of the 4-5 international webstores that sells this stuff..i personally have bought many single items from these stores so i know how it works...

WARNING: It is not allowed for Norwegians to import things worth more then 200 nkr in value before we alo must pay extra customhandling (109kr-) + 24% VAT..Importing items costing more then 200nkr without paying tollcharges and 24%VAT is a vaolation of Norwegian importlaws and are considered a criminal act that can result in big fines & extra customcharges.
