New album released on Jazzaway in Jan 2010

FLUX

The multinational band Flux was formed in Copenhagen 2007 by the young norwegian guitarist/composer Per Arne Ferner.

FLUX is playing their own and uniqe kind of jazzrelated music that will clearly separate itself from the common idiom.
They draw from a long selection of musical styles and directions for inspiration, and achieves to assemble everything into a strong and unmistakable personal soundscape.
Always soulfull and breathing in their performances, they add an elusive quality to the music.

Flux have recieved several awards and international attention for their music prior to their first albumrelease called "Peninsulator", wich was released on Jazzaway records january 2010.
They have performed at different clubs and festivals in countries like Spain, Belgium, Finland, Denmark, Norway etc.

The band consist of Per Arne Ferner - Guitar/composition Mikkel Breck - Flutes (DK), Marc Méan - Piano (SWI), Marc Lohr - Drums, perc. (LUX) and Jesper Thorn - Double
bass (DK)
